Plainswalker (iOS)
- Camera and photos stay on your device. Card scanning uses Apple's on-device text recognition. Camera frames and photos are never stored by the app and never leave your iPhone. The photo picker only ever shows the app the specific image you choose.
- Card lookups. To identify a card, the app sends the card's name (and nothing else — no account, no advertising identifier) to Scryfall, the community card database, and receives card data and images back. These requests are serviced in real time; see Scryfall's privacy policy for their handling of standard web traffic.
- AI stays on-device. "In a nutshell" summaries and Ask-tab rules answers are generated by Apple Intelligence on your iPhone, grounded in the rulebook that ships inside the app. Neither card text nor your questions are ever sent to us or to any cloud AI service.
- Nothing else. No analytics, no crash reporting SDKs, no third-party code that phones home. Plainswalker's App Store privacy label is "Data Not Collected."
Time Machine Monitor (macOS)
- Everything happens on your Mac. The app reads Time Machine's own local records to show you your backups. Your backup contents, file names, and statistics never leave your machine.
- Update checks. If you allow update checks, the app periodically fetches a small file (the Sparkle "appcast") from our server to learn whether a new version exists. This is an ordinary web request carrying no personal information or identifiers.
- Nothing else. No analytics, no account, no ads.
This website
- No cookies, no analytics, no tracking scripts. The site is static files served from Amazon Web Services (S3 and CloudFront), which keep standard, short-lived server logs (such as IP address and requested page) as part of operating any web host. We don't use those logs to identify anyone.
Payments and support
- If you choose to support an app, checkout happens entirely on Stripe's hosted payment page. We never see or store your card details; Stripe shares only the information needed to know a contribution happened.
- If you email support@trulycertifiable.com, we use your message and address to reply — that's it. No mailing lists you didn't ask for.
Changes and contact
If any of the above ever changes — for example, if an app gains a feature that genuinely needs to collect something — this page will say so plainly, with the effective date updated above, before the change ships.
